Outbound messages use pre-approved templates. Free-form replies work inside the customer service window.
24-hour window
When a customer engages, taps a button, or messages you, you have 24 hours to reply for free. Marketing templates still bill per delivery.
Message costs
Meta charges per delivered template outside the customer service window. Those charges go to your Meta Business invoice — Vermoss subscription covers the platform only, not Meta message delivery.
Your number, your account
Connect your WhatsApp Business number through Meta. Customers still talk to the business they trust.
New to WhatsApp Business?
You need a Meta Business Portfolio, a WhatsApp Business Account (WABA), and an approved phone number before Vermoss can send on your behalf. These are Meta's requirements, not optional extras.
- Create or open your portfolio at Meta Business Suite
- Add a WhatsApp Business Account and verify your business phone number in Business Settings → Accounts → WhatsApp accounts
- Follow Meta's Cloud API getting started guide to create a developer app and system user token
- Connect your WABA to Vermoss from the dashboard (Embedded Signup) or ask your administrator to link your organization
